Doha, August 01 (QNA) – Qatar Tourism (QT) has announced that Qatar Calendar for this August showcases wide-ranging family, cultural, and sports events, inviting citizens, residents, and visitors to enjoy a month abounds with family entertainment experiences, cultural exhibitions, and international sporting tournaments.

In a statement on Saturday, QT explained that the Calendar’s program for August includes a broad range of events that cater to the interests and aspirations of audiences of different ages, taking place at several destinations inside and outside Doha.

The statement noted that a vibrant family atmosphere continues throughout the month, with the Go Ninja Summer Camp continuing to welcome visitors until Aug. 27, while The Hangout at Msheireb Galleria, Msheireb Downtown Doha, continues to receive visitors until Aug. 15.

The Dana Club Summer Camp 2026 also continues at Dana Club until Aug. 31.

In addition, the Calendar highlighted that Hala Summer Malls Activation continues at several shopping centers until Sept. 30, while sports events and competitions continue with a packed schedule. The summer fitness race series “Beat the Heat” continues at various locations until Sept. 11, while the MOQ Fit Club at Mall of Qatar continues its activities until Sept. 19.

On Aug. 14, the Aspire Indoor Track hosts the Sports For All Federation Ladies Track Challenge 2026.

Doha hosts the FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U17 World Championship 2026 from Aug. 19 to 29. Basketball fans will also be able to watch the Qatar vs. China clash in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers – Second Round on Aug. 27 at Al-Gharafa Sports Club, alongside the first edition of Run the Dome 2026 at Aspire Dome on Aug. 28 and 29.

Regarding arts, culture, and exhibitions, August features a combination of cultural and artistic programs. Qatar Museums continues to present Countryside: A Place to Live, Not to Leave, alongside A Sneak Peek at the Qatar Auto Museum Project at the National Museum of Qatar.

The Msheireb Museums Summer Program at Bin Jalmoud House, Msheireb Downtown Doha, also continues until Aug. 13, offering creative workshops for different age groups.

The Museum of Islamic Art organizes the Workshop: Diwani Calligraphy (Intermediate) from Aug. 2 to 5, introducing participants to one of the most beautiful Arabic scripts.

The museum also organizes the summer camp for children in collaboration with the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) from Aug. 2 to 13, as part of their joint efforts to provide quality educational and awareness programs.

In addition, Museum Explorer, an interactive journey through the museum’s treasures, takes place at the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum from Aug. 3 to 12. (QNA)
