
Amman, January 14 (Petra) — A study by Rasid Centre for Monitoring Government Performance,on the performance of Jaafar Hassan’s government after 100 days of its formation, showed that the government’s decisions in development and services are the highest at 25% of the total number of decisions it took, which amounted to 153.
The government’s decisions in the public sector modernisation axis came in second place, according to the results of the study announced by Rasid on Tuesday, at 22%, followed by the economic modernisation axis at 20%, the international and foreign relations and agreements axis at 9%, the legislative reform axis at 7%, then the energy and water axis at 5%, the local administration sector at 4% and decisions related to the social sector at 3%.
According to the report, the Rased team followed the Prime Minister’s field work, as the number of field visits by the Prime Minister reached 16 visits that included 8 governorates, in addition to the northern and central badia.
The visits included 47 facilities within the field visits, according to the report, including 10 schools, 9 hospitals or health centers, 7 government departments, 7 factories and companies, 4 associations 4 clubs and youth centres, two social protection homes, facilities, tourism, entertainment and the environment and a public university.
The report showed that 17 visits by the Prime Minister were related to the quality of life engine, 14 visits to enhance leadership and creativity, while 6 visits were related to supporting high-value industries.
The team linked the visits to the drivers of the economic modernisation vision, as it was found that 17 tours were linked to the quality of life driver, 14 tours were linked to enhancing leadership and creativity and 6 visits were linked to the driver of supporting high-value industries, while according to the sector analysis, it included 18 different sectors, most notably the health sector with 9 visits, and the education sector with 7 visits, in addition to other sectors related to food security and local development.
The components of the public sector modernisation plan received great attention during the field tours, including 20 visits to facilities concerned with government services, 6 visits related to developing procedures and digitization, in addition to 3 visits to facilities related to enhancing policy-making processes.
The report included a survey of the opinions of representatives in the twentieth council on the government’s performance during the 100 days of its formation.
The results of the survey showed that 66% of representatives evaluated the government as capable of assuming its responsibilities and fulfilling its obligations within 100 days of its formation.
