Moscow, Feb 11 (Petra) – The Russian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday condemned recent Israeli decisions aimed at altering the legal and civil status of the occupied West Bank to strengthen control, calling on the international community to denounce the measures.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a press conference, “To prevent a dangerous escalation of tensions in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the broader region, we urge Israeli authorities to reconsider steps aimed at changing the existing situation in the West Bank.”
