Sanad Centers 2nd Forum
Focuses on Sustainability, Quality of Digital Transition

Muscat, 7 January 2026 (ONA) — The
Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion today organized the second forum of “Sanad Service Centres”, in Muscat. The forum discussed public-private
sector partnerships aimed at raising the efficiency of Sanad services and
improving beneficiary experience.

The opening ceremony was held under
the auspices of Dr. Khamis bin Saif Al Jabri, Head of Oman Vision 2040
Implementation Follow-up Unit, in the presence of Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef,
Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, government
officials and owners of Sanad Service Centers.

The ceremony
included two visual presentations: The first outlined Sanad Centers’ 20-year experience
in providing services to government and private establishments. The second
presentation highlighted the Ministry’s efforts in developing Sanad Centers and affirming their presence to the community.

The forum also saw the signing of 5
cooperation programmes, inked by Sanad Centers with government and private establishments. The cooperation
programmes aim to enhance partnerships and support the transition towards a
more efficient business environment.

The cooperation programmes deal with
linking the services of many entities to the electronic portal of Sanad Service
Centers—including the Unified National Portal for E-government Services, the
Supreme Judiciary Council services, the Development Bank services, Bank Dhofar
services, and Aqari-Frontech Platform services.

The ceremony also saw the launching of
an on-the-job training initiative to generate more than 1,000 employment
opportunities for Omani youth; the launching of “Sanad Centers Excellence Award”
in the governorates, the launching of Munjiz Card and the launching of Sanad Centers
Classification Initiative.
