Security Council Meets on Middle East, Focus on Palestinian Issue

New York, Jan. 28 (Petra) — The United Nations Security Council is scheduled to hold its monthly session on the Middle East on Wednesday, with particular focus on the Palestinian issue.

Members of the Council are expected to hear a briefing from Ramiz Alakbarov, UN Deputy Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process.
