Amman, Feb. 1 (Petra) — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Sunday discussed with Sudanese Ambassador to Jordan Hassan Saleh Swar Al-Dahab, Jordanian-Sudanese relations and ways to strengthen cooperation across various fields and the current situation in Sudan and the region.
In a meeting held at the Senate’s headquarters, Fayez affirmed that Jordan, under His Majesty King Abdullah II’s the leadership, supports brotherly Sudan in restoring security and stability, preserving its unity, and reaching political solutions to end the crisis and conflicts.
Fayez wished Sudan security, stability, and a return to recovery, reconstruction, and development.
For his part, Swar Al-Dahab highlighted developments in Sudan, expressing appreciation for Jordan’s supportive stance, led by King Abdullah II, and its continued solidarity with the Sudanese people.
The diplomat stressed Sudan’s keenness to expand cooperation with Jordan in all fields, commending Jordan’s role in supporting Arab causes and underscoring Sudan’s commitment to strengthening cooperation to serve common interests.
