Several Palestinians Injured in Israeli Escalation of Evacuations, Home Bombings in Gaza

Gaza, July 31 (QNA) – Several Palestinians were injured last night in Israeli airstrikes, as occupation forces escalated their bombing of homes and forced evictions of residents in several areas of the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that a Palestinian man was seriously injured when an Israeli drone targeted an electric bicycle he was riding near the Al-Istijaba Mosque in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, Al-Awda Medical Complex reported that 10 Palestinians were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a residential building east of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Several other civilians were injured in an airstrike that targeted a residential building in Deir al-Balah, also in the central Gaza Strip.
Two Palestinians, one in critical condition, were injured in another Israeli drone strike that targeted the city center. At the same time, Israeli warplanes launched several airstrikes targeting residential buildings in other areas of the city.
Meanwhile, a Palestinian was wounded after Israeli tanks opened heavy fire on tents housing displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip. Another Palestinian was wounded by Israeli fire in Jabalia, in the north, while the Israeli army carried out a demolition operation south of Khan Younis, in the south.
Local sources reported that a Palestinian was wounded when Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the Al-Safatawi area, north of Gaza City. The bombing caused extensive damage after an order was issued for the forced evacuation of the area’s residents, who are displaced people living in several refugee camps.
Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced a preliminary count of the casualties showing 73,341 martyrs and 174,086 wounded from the ongoing Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2023. (QNA)
