London, Jan. 26 (Petra) – The British pound recorded a notable rise against the U.S. dollar and the euro on Monday, supported by improved investor sentiment and the stability of British economic indicators, according to British economic reports.
According to British trading data, sterling rose 0.32% against the U.S. dollar to reach an exchange rate of $1.37033. The pound also posted slight gains of 0.07% against the euro, indicating the continued positive performance of the British currency in European markets.
