
“Superman” Continues to
Dominate North American Box Office
Washington, 21 Jul (ONA) — The film “Superman”
maintained its top position at the North American box office, earning $57.3
million, according to estimates released today by Exhibitor Relations, a
company specializing in tracking cinematic performance.
In second place was “Jurassic
World: Renaissance,” the latest installment in the famous sci-fi
franchise, with earnings of $23.4 million.
Taking third place was “I
Know What You Did Last Summer,” which grossed $13 million. The film is a
sequel to the popular horror movie released in the 1990s.
“The Smurfs Movie”
secured fourth place with $11 million in North America, while “F1”
rounded out the top five, earning $9.6 million.
