Amman, Nov. 7 (Petra)– Despite limitations and increased security measures put in place by the Israeli occupation, tens of thousands of worshipers performed Friday prayer at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Access to the Old City and the Al-Aqsa shrine was severely restricted by the occupying forces, who stopped scores of young men and checked their identification before allowing them to perform Friday prayer at the Mosque.
In order to prevent people from entering the city and preventing them from accessing the Mosque, the military built dozens of iron barricades in the streets of Jerusalem, as well as around the Old City and Al-Aqsa.
