Amman, Nov. 21 (Petra)– Despite the limitations imposed by Israeli occupation forces in occupied Jerusalem, tens of thousands of worshipers performed Friday prayer at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Palestinian media sites reported that tens of thousands of worshipers performed Friday prayer at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, according to the Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem.
Dozens of young men were forced to worship in Al-Ghazali Square, which is close to the Lions’ Gate, as Israeli police blocked their path to Al-Aqsa.
In order to stop worshipers on their way to the mosque and verify their identity, the forces built dozens of metal barricades around the Old City and the Al-Aqsa Mosque area.
