Occupied Jerusalem, Feb. 20 (Petra)– Despite Israeli occupation restrictions, thousands of worshipers performed the first Friday prayer of the holy month of Ramadan at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to the Jerusalem Islamic Waqf Department, about 80,000 worshipers were able to perform the Friday prayer at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in spite of Israeli occupation-imposed restrictions and measures, which included barring thousands of worshipers from the West Bank from entering.
