KHARTOUM, July 29, 2026 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereign Council (TSC), Dr. Nawara Abu Mohamed Tahir called on the Arab Businessmen’s Union to support development, environmental, energy, transport, and agricultural initiatives in Sudan. During a meeting in Khartoum with a delegation from the Union led by Counsellor Hatem Abdelsalam Mohamed Suleiman, she stressed the importance of organising workshops on developing the Tokar Delta Project to maximise its benefits for local communities and Red Sea State. The meeting also discussed coordination among relevant stakeholders to advance sustainable development in Sudan, with particular emphasis on expanding the use of solar and renewable energy.BH/BH
