Khartoum, 17 January 2026 (SUNA) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has issued a decree reconstituting the Supreme Council for Cooperation and Strategic Coordination between the Republic of Sudan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.The decision follows understandings reached during the TSC President’s meeting with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, within the framework of the two countries’ efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and elevate them to a strategic partnership encompassing all fields.BH/BH
