London, Feb. 2 (Petra) – UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has reaffirmed that achieving peace in the Middle East depends on a two-state solution.
During a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at the prime minister’s official country residence, Chequers, the two leaders discussed regional and international developments, as well as ways to strengthen bilateral relations, according to a statement from the British government.
Both leaders welcomed the ceasefire between Israel and Gaza and praised the ongoing release of prisoners, emphasizing the need for full implementation of all phases of the agreement.
