UN Official: Israeli Entity’s Cutting off Electricity to Gaza Threatens GenocideNew York, 10 Mar (ONA) — The United Nations Special Rapporteur on
the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories
Francesca Albanese said that the Israeli entity’s cutting off
electricity supplies to the Gaza Strip threatens genocide.
Israel cutting off electricity supplies to Gaza means that there are
no functioning desalination stations and therefore no clean water,
which is a warning of genocide, Albanese said on X.
The UN official stressed that not imposing sanctions or arms embargo
against Israel means aiding and assisting it to commit one of the
most preventable genocides of the history.— Ends/Khalid
