Amman, Nov. 16 (Petra) UNRWA Deputy Commissioner-General Natalie Boucly said famine continues to grip the Gaza Strip, stressing that with winter approaching it has become essential to allow humanitarian aid into the enclave without delay.
In an interview published Sunday by The Guardian, Boucly said families in Gaza are facing winter without sufficient food, water or medical supplies. She noted that aid is available but is not being permitted to enter the territory.
