ZINC organizes Local Edition of NASA’s Space Apps Challenge

Amman, Oct. 14 (Petra) – Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) organized the fifth local edition of NASA Space Apps Challenge – Amman.

The event brought together 249 talented young men and women from Amman, Irbid, and Aqaba governorates, including developers, innovators, and university students.
Held at The ARC in King Hussein Business Park, the competition gathered a distinguished group of creative youth in technology, programming, and innovation to develop groundbreaking solutions using NASA’s open data. Participants addressed a variety of themes, including climate change, artificial intelligence (AI), sustainability, and space exploration, and took part in workshops, mentorship sessions, and presentations that enhanced their technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills.
ZINC organized the competition across multiple governorates and awarded cash prizes to the winning teams. The winning teams will represent Jordan in the global phase of the competition, where they will compete with participants from around the world to develop innovative technological solutions.
