Amman, Jan 9 (Petra) — The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply has reissued a tender to purchase 100,000 to 120,000 tons of barley, marking the second attempt to secure this supply.
Interested suppliers can obtain the tender documentation, which includes terms and specifications, from the ministry’s tender department for a non-refundable fee of 650 Jordanian dinars. The ministry set next Wednesday at 2:00 PM as the deadline for bid submissions.
Bidders must provide current documentation including a valid professional license, a certified commercial registration issued within 30 days of the bid opening date, and a valid Chamber of Commerce registration certificate.
The announcement represents a significant procurement initiative for Jordan’s agricultural supply chain.
