Jordan Tourism Board Wins Best Tourism Bureau Award 2024

Amman, January 22 (Petra) – The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) has been honored with the “World’s Best Destination Country Tourism Bureau” award for 2024, presented by the “Luxury Times” awards, a leading international platform that recognizes excellence in tourism.

The announcement was made during a ceremony held in Beijing, attended by prominent representatives from the global tourism industry, according to a JTB statement on Wednesday.

Director General of the JTB, Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, emphasized that this accolade underscores the board’s dedicated efforts to solidify Jordan’s reputation as a top-tier tourist destination. He highlighted the focus on delivering exceptional tourist experiences and fostering innovation in promoting Jordanian tourism.

“This recognition serves as a motivation to persist in offering unparalleled services to tourists and expanding partnerships with international markets. It aligns with Jordan’s vision to establish itself as a sustainable destination blending cultural heritage with tourism innovation,” Arabiyat stated.

Arabiyat also noted that the award reaffirms Jordan’s leadership in global tourism, celebrated for its rich heritage and diverse natural landscapes. He highlighted the board’s role in advancing Jordan’s position through creative marketing campaigns and initiatives promoting sustainable tourism practices.

The honor, he said, reflects worldwide recognition of Jordan’s appeal, offering unique experiences that encompass adventure, culture, and relaxation. From Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, to iconic sites like the Dead Sea, Wadi Rum, and other historic and natural landmarks, Jordan continues to attract tourists from around the globe.
