NNA – Environment Minister, Tamara Zein, participated in the ldquo;Global Ministerial Dialogue on Science Diplomacyrdquo; at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, following an invitation by the organization.nbsp;The conference brought together ministers and delegations from UNESCO member states to explore a modern approach to science diplomacy.nbsp;
Discussions focused on using science diplomacy as a strategic tool for the sustainable and transparent management of natural and scientific resources, addressing global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, and emerging diseases.nbsp;
On the sidelines, Minister Zein met with UNESCO officials and Lebanonrsquo;s permanent representative, Ambassador Mustafa Adib, to discuss support for environmental projects.
