NNA – The Economic and Social Council of the League of Arab States met today in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, at the senior official level.
Lebanon was represented by the Director General of the Ministry of Economy and Trade, Dr. Mohammad Abu Haidar.
These meetings are part of the preparations for the Council#39;s next ministerial session and the economic and social file to be submitted to the Arab League Council at the summit level.
The preparatory meetings witnessed constructive discussions among representatives of member states, focusing on ways to strengthen joint Arab action and advance development in the region through integrated policies that enhance economic and social stability and respond to current and future challenges.
