NNA – Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitrinbsp;visited the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who affirmed his country#39;s support for Lebanon and readiness to assist in all areas, emphasizing the importance of maintaining stability in Lebanonnbsp;and continuing the government#39;s reform process.
Mitri also met with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, where they discussed the general situation and diplomatic efforts to achieve Israel#39;s withdrawal from southern Lebanon and its commitment to the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement.
Mitri#39;s meetings with Qatari officials took place on the sidelines of his participation in the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies forum held in Doha and his participation as a speaker at the Orientalism Conference organized by Her Excellency Lolwah Al-Khater, Qatari Minister of Education.
