27 Apr (ONA) — The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has issued a
decision to promulgate a bylaw to to regulate telecom services’ billing and
ensure the accuracy of such billing in accordance with best global practices
and standards in this field.The
bylaw covered definitions and general provisions, licensee obligations,
tariffs, cost rates, payments, auditing, performance measurement and
administrative penalties.The
bylaw seeks to ensure accurate billing for telecom services, protect
beneficiary rights, promote fair competition, augment transparency, enhance
service quality and apply the best standards and practices in this field.
