OPAZ Showcases Opportunities for Oman-Dagestan Economic Cooperation
Muscat, May 6 (ONA) — The Public Authority for Special
Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) today showcased opportunities for
economic cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Dagestan,
notably in economic zones, free zones and industrial zones.
A presentation to this effect was made during a meeting between Eng.
Ahmed Hassan Al Deeb, Deputy Chairman of the Public Authority for Special
Economic Zones and Free Zones, and Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, Prime
Minister of the Republic of Dagestan. The meeting, which took place at OPAZ headquarters in Muscat
Governorate, included an introduction to the incentives, opportunities and investment climate in Oman’s special economic
zones, free zones and industrial cities.
The meeting also dealt with tax exemptions, foreign
ownership of projects and the most prominent specialized industrial centres in
the abovementioned zones.
