Muscat,
6 May (ONA) —— The Digital Innovation Forum in Muscat today highlighted the
latest strategic advancements in digital technology, with participation from
experts in the public and private sectors, as well as stakeholders invested in
the future of digital innovation in Oman.

The
forum was inaugurated under the patronage of Dr. Ali Amer Al Shithani,
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information
Technology for Communications and Information Technology.

The
2-day event aims to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration
across various sectors. Key discussion topics include innovation management,
business strategy and digital transformation, hyperconnectivity, knowledge
cities, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure evolution.

On
its first day, the forum addressed several themes, such as business management
and digitization strategies, hyperconnectivity, the Internet of Things (IoT),
and smart technologies. The second day will focus on discussions around
knowledge cities, future urban planning, applied AI and data, cloud
transformation, and cybersecurity governance.
