Irbid, May 12 (Petra) – Irbid Mayor Nabil Kofahi met on Monday with Turkish Ambassador to Jordan, Yakup Caymazo?lu, to discuss frameworks for joint cooperation between the two sides.
During the meeting, held at Irbid Municipality headquarters, both parties emphasized the importance of continuing collaboration across various areas, particularly in improving municipal services and promoting sustainable local development.
They also reviewed successful experiences from both countries that could be leveraged for future projects benefiting citizens and strengthening the bonds between the Jordanian and Turkish peoples.
Irbid Municipality maintains sister-city agreements with several Turkish municipalities, with mutual visits regularly conducted to exchange expertise and deepen bilateral cooperation.
