NET, CAVT partner to expand Jordan’s youth job opportunities 

Amman, May 14 (Petra) – The National Employment and Training Company (NET) and the College of Advanced Vocational Training in Jordan (CAVT) in Jordan on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), aimed at enhancing cooperation in the vocational and technical education and training fields.

Signed by the NET General Manager, Brig. Gen. Ashraf Eleimat, and CAVT CEO, Ammar Gharaibeh, the memo would contribute to disseminate a vocational work culture and meet the evolving needs of the Jordanian labor market.

Under the memo, the two sides partner to transfer technical expertise, develop training curricula, and provide joint training opportunities, exchange studies and statistics on the labor market.

This effort would prepare a generation of qualified professional workers, in accordance with the highest international standards.

The agreement also seeks to orchestarte efforts to develop technical skills and competencies and enhance the trainers’ capabilities and support the Kingdom’s “sustainable” economic development.

The memo affirms the mutual commitment to promote vocational education in Jordan and create new opportunities for youth in various professional sectors across all governorates.
