Occupied Jerusalem, May 14 (Petra) — Hundreds of ultranationalist Jews, escorted by Israeli police, on Wednesday stormed Al Aqsa Mosque plaza in occupied Jerusalem and performed prayers in the latest provocation against guards and worshippers, the Muslim Waqf Department, the custodian of the holy site, said.
It said 358 settlers, members of hardline Jewish organizations and seminaries, broke into the compound this morning in ongoing breaches and attempts aimed at the judaization of Al Aqsa Mosque, one of Islam’s holiest sites.
