Amman, May 14 (Petra) – Medical and support teams of the Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza 82 have completed their arrival in the Gaza Strip as of Tuesday, in line with royal directives to aid the people of Gaza and alleviate the humanitarian crisis amid the ongoing war.

The hospital’s commanding officer stated that the medical teams have implemented all necessary technical and administrative procedures in preparation for receiving and treating patients. The facility is now ready to provide top-quality medical care across a wide range of specialties.

He noted that Gaza 82 includes various medical, nursing, pharmaceutical, and technical professionals fully capable of fulfilling their duties efficiently and effectively, especially given the current circumstances in the Strip.

The deployment of Gaza 82 follows the return of the Gaza 81 field hospital team to Jordan, having served 16,630 patients and performed 104 major and minor surgeries. Since the start of the war, Jordanian field hospitals in Gaza have treated a total of approximately 101,150 cases.
