Amman, May 15 (Petra) — Arab foreign ministers convened in Baghdad on Thursday for the preparatory meeting ahead of the 34th Arab League Summit, scheduled to take place in the Iraqi capital.
Jordan is represented at the meeting by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Ayman Safadi, who is leading the Kingdom’s delegation.
Following the opening session, the ministers entered a closed-door meeting to discuss the draft agenda and resolutions proposed for the summit. The approved items will be submitted to the Arab leaders for final consideration and endorsement during the summit proceedings.
