Oil Prices Rise in Early TradingSingapore, 28 May (ONA) — Oil prices today edged up in early trading amid expectations that the OPEC+ alliance will increase output.
Brent crude futures rose 7 cents, or 0.1%, to $64.16 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude gained 9 cents, or 0.2%, at $60.98 a barrel.
Gains remain limited as markets await the outcome of an OPEC+ meeting scheduled for later today, where the alliance is expected to agree on increasing production.— Ends/Khalid
