Amman, Aug. 21 (Petra) — The Northern Military Region announced Thursday that it foiled an infiltration attempt after an individual illegally crossed the border within its area of responsibility.
A rapid reaction patrol was dispatched, the person was arrested, and referred to the competent authorities.
The army also thwarted an attempt to smuggle crystal meth using a drone. The drone, spotted carrying a suspicious object while flying, was intercepted and brought down inside Jordanian territory, with the seized items handed over to the relevant authorities.
