2 Sep (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX 30) index today closed at 5,120.05
points, gaining 17.9 points, or 0.35%, compared to the last trading session’s
close of 5,102.18 points.
The
trading value reached RO 32,012,577, decreasing by 38.2% compared to the last
session’s value of RO 51,799,728.
MSX
report indicated that the market value went up by 0.174% from the last trading
day, reaching approximately RO 30.11 billion.
The
value of shares purchased by non-Omani investors reached RO 2,684,000, constituting
8.39% of the total, while the value of their sales amounted to RO 5,661,000, or
17.68%. Consequently, the net investment by non-Omanis decreased by RO 2,976,000,
or 9.30%.
