Amman, Sept. 17 (Petra) — The Jordan U-17 women’s national football team will meet Saudi Arabia once again in a friendly match on Thursday evening in Dammam, looking to build on their dominant performance earlier this week.
Jordan cruised to a 6-1 victory in the first match on Tuesday at Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium, showcasing strong form ahead of next month’s AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers.
These friendlies are part of Jordan’s final preparations for the qualification campaign, with the team set to host Group H matches in Aqaba from October 13 to 17.
The qualification format features eight groups. Five of them include three teams each, while the remaining three have four teams. Only the top team from each group will secure a spot in the final tournament.
