Thailand Hold Political Talks Session

16 Dec 2025 (ONA) — The second session of political talks between the
Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Thailand was held today at the headquarters
of the Foreign Ministry.
The
Omani side was headed by Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of
the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs. The Thai side was headed by Sirilak
Niyom, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During
the session, the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries were
discussed in the fields of logistics, the health sector and energy.
In
addition, the two sides discussed the exchange of investments and cultural
cooperation. They also considered and consulted on a number of regional and
international issues of mutual concern.
The
session was attended by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Hosni, Head of the
Asia and Pacific Department at the Foreign Ministry, Warunee Pan Krajang, Ambassador
of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman, and a number of officials from both sides.
