The opening day of the tournament saw

Khalid Khalfan Al Subhi,
Chairman of Oman Billiards and Snooker Committee (OBSC), said that the launch
of Muscat Nights International Billiards and Snooker Championship—which brings together 125 players—reflects the great level of confidence placed on the Sultanate of Oman by international
federations and players, and affirms the success of efforts
undertaken by the OBSC during the past few years.
Al Subhi pointed out that the
tournament received widespread commendation from the participating delegations
and players who valued the efficiency of procedures and the readiness of facilities. He explained that the championship’s distinctive climate of competition, which coincided with Muscat Nights events, portrayed
a positive image of the Sultanate of Oman as a sports and tourism hub capable

“The OBSC is committed to organizing
and hosting more international tournaments to promote billiards and snooker
skills and to provide international exposure for Omani players,” Al Subhi added.
