Amman, March 8 (Petra) — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi on Sunday affirmed Jordan’s full support and solidarity with the United Arab Emirates in confronting Iranian attacks against it.
During a telephone call with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Safadi stressed that Jordan stands with the UAE in all steps it takes to protect its security, sovereignty, stability and the safety of its citizens in the face of these attacks.
Safadi and Sheikh Abdullah also discussed the repercussions of the dangerous escalation in the region and prospects for ending it.
Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the UAE’s solidarity with Jordan in confronting the attacks launched by Iran on its territory.
