Cairo, March 29 (QNA) – The State of Qatar participated in the 165th ordinary session of the Council of the Arab League at the level of permanent delegates, held at the League’s headquarters in Cairo, on Sunday.
HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Thani chaired Qatar’s delegation to the meeting.
The session saw the United Arab Emirates hand over the Council’s presidency to the Kingdom of Bahrain, as part of the periodic rotation among member states. (QNA)
