Doha, April 12 (QNA) – The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened lower on Sunday, losing 81.80 points, or 0.77%, falling to 10,559 points, compared to the previous session’s close, under pressure from five sectors.
The market was weighed down by the Transportation sector by -2.01%, Industrials (-1.56%), Real Estate (-0.54%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.47%), and Banks and Financial Services (-0.27%). However, performance was positive for Insurance (+0.66%) and Telecoms (+0.18%).
By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 91.971 million, with 45.814 million shares traded in 4,844 transactions. (QNA)
