Ankara, June 01 (QNA) – Turkiye’s economy grew by 2.5% in the first quarter of 2026 compared with the same period last year, according to official data released Monday by the Turkish Statistical Institute.
While the economy extended its streak of uninterrupted growth to 23 consecutive quarters, the growth rate came in below market expectations of 2.7%, slowing for a third consecutive quarter. (QNA)
