Amman, June 3 (Petra) — Mild summer weather is expected to prevail
across most areas through Saturday, while hotter conditions continue
in desert and low-lying regions, according to the Jordan
Meteorological Department.

The department said weather conditions on Wednesday will remain
seasonally mild across much of the country, with relatively hot to
hot temperatures forecast in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead
Sea and Aqaba.

Moderate northwesterly winds are expected throughout the day,
becoming active at times, particularly in desert regions where they
could trigger localized dust.

Forecasts indicate stable weather conditions during the remainder of
the week, with little change expected through Saturday. Mild
temperatures will continue across most regions, while relatively hot
weather is forecast in the Badia and hot conditions are expected to
persist in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.

The department also forecast the intermittent appearance of medium-
and high-altitude clouds over the coming days. Northwesterly winds
are expected to remain moderate in speed, becoming active at times,
especially in eastern and southern desert areas.

Temperatures on Wednesday are expected to reach 31 degrees Celsius in
East Amman and 29 degrees in West Amman. In the northern highlands,
temperatures will range between 25 C and 13 C, while the Sharah
highlands are forecast to record temperatures between 27 C and 15 C.

Higher temperatures are expected in other regions, with the Badia
reaching 35 C, the northern Jordan Valley 36 C, the southern Jordan
Valley 39 C, the Dead Sea 37 C and Aqaba 40 C.
