Amman, June 3 (Petra) – Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs
Ayman Safadi held a telephone call on Wednesday with Syrian Foreign
Minister Asaad Shaibani to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and
regional developments.
Safadi and Shaibani discussed the continued progress in
Jordanian-Syrian relations across various fields, reflecting the
deep-rooted ties between the two countries and their shared
commitment to strengthening cooperation.
The top diplomats discussed efforts to de-escalate tensions in the
region, restore calm and address the root causes of instability to
achieve lasting security and stability.
