Digital Economy Minister Reviews Expansion Plans of Mostar IT

Amman, June 3 (Petra) — Minister of Digital Economy and
Entrepreneurship Sami Smeirat visited Mostar IT on the occasion of
the opening of its new headquarters, where he was briefed on the
company’s expansion plans and operations in digital infrastructure,
cloud computing, systems integration and cybersecurity.

According to a ministry statement issued on Wednesday, Smeirat
stressed the importance of supporting Jordanian companies and
enabling them to grow and expand into regional and global markets,
contributing to the creation of high-quality employment opportunities
for Jordanian youth and enhancing the competitiveness of the
information technology sector.

He said the success of national companies in expanding beyond Jordan
while maintaining their operations, expertise and skilled workforce
within the Kingdom strengthens Jordan’s position as a regional
technology hub and reflects the objectives of the Economic
Modernization Vision in supporting the digital economy, attracting
investment and developing national talent.
