Amman, June 6 (Petra) –Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission
(EMRC) received 1,096 license applications across various sectors
during April.
9 out of these requests, which all targeted the Kingdom’s oil and
petroleum products sector, were turned down.
According to data published on the commission’s website, 454
applications targeted the radiation and nuclear sector, while 34
others went for the electricity and renewable energy industry.
Meanwhile, 397 requests were tailored for the natural resources
sector and 211 came from the oil and petroleum products business.
