Amman, June 11 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) posted a
total trading volume of JD32.1 million on Thursday, with 6.6 million
shares changing hands across 6,399 contracts.
The general share price index closed at 3,954 points, up 0.68
percent.
Of the 106 companies traded, 37 recorded price gains while 25
declined.
At the sector level, the industrial index rose 3.23 percent, and the
services index gained 0.56 percent, while the financial sector index
edged down 0.01 percent.
