Jordan, South Korea Senate Friendship Panels Discuss Boosting Ties

Amman, June 11 (Petra) — Head of the Jordanian-Korean Friendship
Committee in the Senate, Senator Ahmad Khudari, met on Thursday with
members of the Korean-Jordanian Parliamentary Friendship Committee in
the National Assembly in Seoul to discuss ways of strengthening
cooperation.

The talks, held on the sidelines of the Seoul Food and Hospitality
Exhibition, were also attended by Jordan’s Ambassador to South Korea,
Asal Tal. The Jordanian Senate delegation was led by Khudari and
included Senator Mamdouh Nabas.

Discussions covered the depth of Jordanian-South Korean relations
across leadership, governmental and people-to-people levels, with
particular focus on economic cooperation and facilitating the flow of
goods between the two countries.

South Korean exports to Jordan reached JD333 million last year,
compared with JD28 million in Jordanian exports to South Korea.
