WHO: 135 paramedics have been killed in Lebanon during recent Israeli escalation

Amman, June 13 (Petra) — The World Health Organization said on
Saturday that 17 hospitals in Lebanon sustained damage during the
recent Israeli escalation, including all three hospitals located in
the city of Tyre.

According to a statement carried by the United Nations News Centre,
135 healthcare workers and emergency responders have been killed,
while nearly 400 others have been injured.

The United Nations stressed that hospitals and medical personnel must
be protected at all times in accordance with international law.
