Amman, June 15 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) posted a
total trading volume of JD18.8 million on Monday, with 6.3 million
shares changing hands through 5,137 transactions.
The general price index closed up 0.1% at 4,019 points.
Of 102 companies, 36 posted gains, 33 dropped and the rest were flat.
At sector level, the financial sector index rose 0.61% and industry
and services firms fell 0.60% and 0.53%, respectively.
