Amman, June 16 (Petra)– Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of
Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi held a telephone
conversation on Tuesday with Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
During the call, Safadi and Al Zayani discussed the longstanding and
deeply rooted fraternal relations between Jordan and Bahrain, as well
as ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in support of the interests
of the two brotherly countries.
The two ministers also reviewed regional developments and their
implications for regional and international peace and security.
They discussed prospects for joint coordination aimed at
strengthening Arab cooperation, in addition to a number of issues of
mutual interest.
